A maximum subsidy of 300k yuan for top talents' flexible work in Zhongshan

The Zhongshan Human Resources and Social Security Bureau recently began to solicit social opinion on Zhongshan's new policy of "Flexible Talent Introduction".

Flexible Talent Introduction refers to introducing top talents to consecutively or cumulatively work in enterprises and public institutions in Zhongshan for more than one month every year, under the premise of no changes or impact on the personnel relationship between them and their current employers.

According to the Interim Measures of Flexible Talent Introduction Management (Exposure Draft), 10 categories of top talents are the main targets of this policy, and the introduction methods include consulting and guidance, project cooperation, part-time reemployment, among others. After paying the top talents, employing units should also apply for living subsidies according to regulations and issued the subsidies to them.

There are four types of living subsidies for flexible talents introduction. Among others, the first and second types of talents who come to work in Zhongshan for 30 to 60 days a year shall be given a subsidy of up to 250,000 yuan; for those who work for more than 61 days, the maximum amount shall not exceed 300,000 yuan.

Specifically, the top talents applying for subsidies shall clearly state in their project agreements or work contracts signed with the employing units in Zhongshan that they shall work in Zhongshan for no less than one month every year, and their working time at the units shall be no less than one month cumulatively by the application date.
